Liverpool Fashion Week - Oct 2017

Image
In early October 2017 I was asked to assist Kiki Riki for two days showcasing their new lines at Liverpool Fashion Week. The event has great history so I thought it would be a great opportunity to showcase the brand to a new audience. The first thing on my list was to meet Jenny and her assistant Selina, to discuss an action plan to make sure we took full advantage of this opportunity. As she had not showcased her lines at this particular event before none of us had any idea of what to expect           The event coordinator Amanda was excited as I to meet one another, she had heard good things about me from others so therefore I wanted to make an impact. I went dressed to the nines in black trousers with tan shoes, a pale blue shirt, cream blazer, navy blue scarf and a chain skirt from Kiki Riki, she adored my outfit alongside my glitter makeup I used to accessories the outfit, especially how I applied it to my lips! She talked me through how she thought the event would pan ou

HALLOWEEN 2017

Image
When I was asked to use my styling skills to decorate an exclusive Soho venue for Halloween in the theme of the Rocky Horror picture show my mind instantly started exploding with ideas! I wanted to do something that hadn't been seen before, think garlands, cob-webbing, lips, hanging umbrellas, marigolds and GLITTER! I wanted my idea to be wild I prepared my ideas in the form of photos and prototypes to get the venue manager on board, even though they were a little abstract. The only extra thing he asked me to do was to source a cost for my amazing idea... does this mean I have a budget? In true stylist fashion I did the very thing I love, shopping! I wanted to push boundaries and use some secret skills that I haven’t used in a few years. Most of the work for this job would be creating things from scratch which meant late nights and bags (under the eyes), I really had to step up my beauty regime! The props were ready... Halloween was only three days away

KAT KASISOPA - guest judge

Kat Kasisopa is most memorable for being on Big Brother 9 in 2008, she entered the house holding a jar of cookies! I met Kat at a restaurant launch event in East London although we had caught each others eye at the Impulse launch event a few weeks previous. We spoke for some of the night about our experiences and backgrounds and I found her such a fun, bubbly and pure energy. She is so energetic I can't put it in to words! Kat came to me and asked if I could style her for the Out Of This World competition at Mangro Tree in London. She explained that the theme was 'space'. I looked at some photos online of Kat from the last year and how she dressed. She has always been an eccentric dresser and isn't afraid of wearing glitter and unique clothing  I sent her some photos of options and we shortlisted some ideas. I spoke with the brand and they advised me on the length of a certain garment. Kat is only the cute height of barely 5foot and I wanted to mak

ELLA HUGHES - app launch

I meet a lot of people when going to launch events and fashion shows etc. I was at a restaurant opening in East London with a friend where I met Jay Kamiraz. He has a huge personality and a fabulous dress sense, big hair and great skin Jay put me in contact with Ella Hughes who is in the adult entertainment business. I met with Ella in Kings Cross to talk about an outfit and to get to know her better. I love using glitter and gems on my clients, this excited Ella. She was going to be a guest an app launch event at Embargo Republica in Chelsea, London. We shortlisted some garments and after I communicated with the brand we decided to go ahead with a certain style. One of the reasons I chose this dress is because it has a net underlay and you can see through to the skin I met Ella at a hotel in Chelsea where I also met a fabulous woman named Lianne Young. I found out that she is extremely experienced in the adult entertainment industry but now helps and mentors girls
