STEPHEN BEAR - celebs go dating

I was working in retail for a high street brand in a busy London location. Stephen Bear (AKA BEAR) came in and needed an outfit for a TV show he was filming

We walked about the shop floor talking through his ideas and what the show was about. It's important to understand your client and their needs/what the occasion is to choose appropriate garments. It was for E4's 'Celebs Go Dating' that aired early 2017

Bear was great to talk to; his face to face personality was not how I would have assumed him to be. He was completely real, easy to talk to and knew exactly what look he was going for. He came with photo references, much more prepared then I expected! Tommy gun gangster. I instantly had a concept idea in my head and asked for his sizes. I came back with a complete outfit option for him and gave him shoes to try. He was unsure of the choice of shoes but tried them on to see how they looked


He came out of the fitting room beaming and said he felt great! He said that it was exactly what he was looking for and that the shoe choice was perfect now that he saw them on. Feeling accomplished I suggested some accessories to enhance the look and fit the 'tommy gun' brief'

This was a great experience for me and left me feeling more determined to pursue my styling freelance

I meet a lot of people when going to launch events and fashion shows etc. I was at a restaurant opening in East London with a friend where I met Jay Kamiraz. Kiki Riki is a clothing brand. Not just any clothing brand, a brand YOU need to check out! I went with a friend to the Pure fashion event in February '17 at Olympia, London. It was my first time at this event so I made sure to make the most of it and talk to everyone, We walked around, had some champagne, saw the new collections on show and finally watched the main catwalk I took videos and photos to remember the brands I spotted and wanted to talk to... but then Kiki Riki's walk started! It was love at first strut! They knocked everyone else out of the water and I simply had to go and talk to them After the catwalk, I made a bee-line for their stand. KAT KASISOPA - guest judge

 Kat Kasisopa is most memorable for being on Big Brother 9 in 2008, she entered the house holding a jar of cookies! I met Kat at a restaurant launch event in East London although we had caught each others eye at the Impulse launch event a few weeks previous. We spoke for some of the night about our experiences and backgrounds and I found her such a fun, bubbly and pure energy. She is so energetic I can't put it in to words! Kat came to me and asked if I could style her for the Out Of This World competition at Mangro Tree in London. She explained that the theme was 'space'.
